Bay laurel wood bowl harvested from fallen tree - 7"X3"

Sale price $55.00 Regular price $80.00

This beautiful bowl is handmade from bay laurel wood, a hard and durable wood that is surprisingly light. It has a faint smell of bay leaves, and is finished with pure, food-grade beeswax.

The bowl was rough-turned a year ago and left to dry, then re-turned to finish this year. It measures 7 inches across and 3 inches tall, and is perfect for serving food or holding anything you want. It has voids and bug holes and a ton of character.

Bay laurel wood is a popular choice for bowls and other kitchen utensils because it is:

  • Durable: Bay laurel wood is very hard and dense, making it resistant to scratches and dents.
  • Lightweight: Despite its durability, bay laurel wood is surprisingly light, making it easy to handle.
  • Aromatic: Bay laurel wood has a faint but pleasant smell of bay leaves, which adds to the enjoyment of using the bowl.

This bowl is a unique and handcrafted piece that will add beauty and functionality to your kitchen. It is also a great gift for any occasion.
