This little bowl was hand-turned, then carved with a rose engine. It is made from sapele wood.
A rose engine is a 16-th century piece of technology that I've recreated in my garage. These machines and the products made with them are extremely rare.
The finish is food-safe, but it is intended to store small objects, not food or drink. You could probably eat or drink out of it, but it would be a pain to clean. Then again, I'm not the police - do what you want.
Measures 3" wide by 1.5" tall
